Merry Christmas!

Wishing you a Merry Christmas from my crazy sweater-clad family to yours!

Thank you so much for reading along, commenting, and letting me be a part of your kitchen adventures. It is a joy and pleasure to share recipes with all of you.

Whether you’re making a giant feast or ordering Chinese takeout, I hope your table is filled with good food and better company. And in the midst of wrapping paper balls and roast beef, I pray you’ll have time to reflect on the wonder of Christmas. A few years ago, I wrote about Why I’m Thankful for Dirty, Messy Christmas, and it’s still one of my favorite posts. If you have a minute, give it a read, and remember this season isn’t about twinkling lights and perfect tablescapes, but about a God who came close. A God who chose not silent nights, but our messy, chaotic, far-from-perfect hearts.

Peace and joy to you this season, my friends!

“I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David, a Savior, which is Christ the Lord.”
